This April-June 2012 this was our first visit to Nepal. We were seven people and we contacted several agencies to organize a trek. This was a challenging and not easy task as we had with us two children 6 and 8 years old.

I must say that only Guru from Jomsom Trek gave us a precise and realistic plan that corresponded to our expectation. We were then embarked for a 11 days trek in upper Mustang (from Jomsom to Lo-Mantang).

All was fairly well and professionally organized by Guru. Our assistance consisted of one guide, three porters, a horseman with two ponies to help the childrens in their progression.

This trek was a perfect success, the two childrens were able to walk nearly half of the distance passing the high passes (max 4100m) without any trouble.

The presence of the two childrens was an enrichment facilitating greatly the contact with the local people. For sure they will remember this venture for their lifetime.
