Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is start from Pokhara. One of the most popular treks in Nepal. It is quite easy and shorter trek than other high altitude treks in Nepal. This trek incorporates diverse terrain, culture, and wildlife. Along with the most spectacular and close up view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Dhaulagiri.
In Spring, it showcases many beautiful flowers including the national flower of Nepal – Rhododendron. Orchids, Machhapuchhre massif and the deepest gorge Kali Gandaki accompanies you during the trek.
You will spot at times high cascading waterfalls. And, you will get to learn about people of different ethnicity, especially Gurung people when visiting the Ghandruk museum.
Depending on which route you take, you may not pass through Ghandruk though. The trail is the same from Chomrung onwards but you can choose to include or not include Ghorepani Poon Hill and Ghandruk. Poon hill is a vantage point for the view of Annapurna plus other peaks and for sunrise and sunset.
Other highlights of this trek are the hot springs! Very relaxing and healing for your aching muscles.
ABC passes through MBC (Machhapuchhre Base Camp). What a blissful moment. Visit two base camps in one trip!

As it is already believed that Annapurna means “full of food” (feminine form), but is normally translated as Goddess of the Harvests. In Hinduism, Annapurna is “… the universal and timeless kitchen-goddess … the mother who feeds. Without her there is starvation and a universal fear. Her most popular shrine is located in Kashi, on the banks of the river Ganga.” Her association with the giving of food (wealth) led her in time to be transformed into Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth so from the religious view it is important to respect the Mother Nature, create peaceful and calm surroundings. Stay overnight at lodge.

What Client Say About Us
Nous sommes finalement partis en octobre le trek etait tres bien preparé et l'equipe à la faois amicale serviable et efficace permettant de nous sentir en toute securité.
We have just finished a 17 days trek in the Annapurnas and Mustang regions. The trek was demanding at times but from the very beginning we encountered great support and encouragement from Jomson Treks and Expedition who provided the most efficient service.
The city has a humid subtropical climate; however, the elevation keeps temperatures moderate. Temperatures in summer average between 25 and 35 °C; in winter around −2 to 15 °C.
If you are looking for ways to conquer your fear or just want to do something crazy for your adrenaline kicks in, the high lands of our country can help you achieve this goal.
So we decided to continue with them and in August 2010 we have organized the Upper Mustang Trek with the same agency. Guru is the best trekking guide and he has his own trekking company in Pokhara ( Jomsom Treks & Expedition p.ltd)
nous sommes très satisfait de la prestation, car shiva a été un très bon guide, flexible et attentif, avec de bonnes adresses locales pour dejeuner et pour dormir. notre guide Harka était d un dévouement sans faille, et connaissait également très bien la région
Our group of six persons had a wonderful trip to Annapurna Base Camp through the help and expertise of Guru and his team of guides and porters, particularly Chandra, Anil and Samser. Their office in Pokhara is very conveniently situated and accessible by internet
My girlfriend and I just came back from the Ghorepani Trek (Poon Hill) that we did in 4 days (it can be difficult for people who are not in good shape since two of these days are 15 KM/7.5 hours walk per day without speaking of the ascent).
A great experience from the beginning! We looked for some thing off the beaten path and the Model Trek was it. We saw no fellow tourists during our camping portion of the trip ! Just locals Our guide, cook and porters were very good and friendly.
It was a truly great experience. 14 days of pure joy despite some cloudy days (monsoon…). The views from the Thorung La pass (5416m) were just incredible, and some of the villages on the route were magnificent (most notably Upper Pisang and Kagbeni)
