We have just finished a 17 days trek in the Annapurnas and Mustang regions. The trek was demanding at times but from the very beginning we encountered great support and encouragement from Jomson Treks and Expedition who provided the most efficient service.

The city has a humid subtropical climate; however, the elevation keeps temperatures moderate. Temperatures in summer average between 25 and 35 °C; in winter around −2 to 15 °C.

So we decided to continue with them and in August 2010 we have organized the Upper Mustang Trek with the same agency. Guru is the best trekking guide and he has his own trekking company in Pokhara ( Jomsom Treks & Expedition p.ltd)

My girlfriend and I just came back from the Ghorepani Trek (Poon Hill) that we did in 4 days (it can be difficult for people who are not in good shape since two of these days are 15 KM/7.5 hours walk per day without speaking of the ascent).

A great experience from the beginning! We looked for some thing off the beaten path and the Model Trek was it. We saw no fellow tourists during our camping portion of the trip ! Just locals Our guide, cook and porters were very good and friendly.

It was a truly great experience. 14 days of pure joy despite some cloudy days (monsoon…). The views from the Thorung La pass (5416m) were just incredible, and some of the villages on the route were magnificent (most notably Upper Pisang and Kagbeni)
