A great experience from the beginning! We looked for some thing off the beaten path and the Model Trek was it. We saw no fellow tourists during our camping portion of the trip ! Just locals Our guide, cook and porters were very good and friendly. It was a demanding trek given y lack of experience but well worth it. The campsites had great views too wake up to .The food was very good.we stay on the way back Home stay in Lawang Village and enjoy with local food,flock local dance with mothers group and drinks locak wine(raksi) what was needed to keep us going the Annapurna Sanctuary trek was every thing and our Guide Chakra was knowledgable on good tea houses and routes.We had to amind our route comming down because of my sore knees and the team was very patient,helpful and good to keep me motivated.
overall, the combination of camping , Homestay and Teahouse was a great experience !
