This trek is start from Pokhara. Khopra Danda (Ridge) Trek also known as Khayer Lake Trekking is one of the most impressively attractive untouched nature and freshly opened territory for trekking sport in Annapurna. This trek is seemly good for all opinioned trekkers. Parts of this trail are more strenuous while other parts are easier. The path goes through deeply lush thick pine, oak, rhododendron and bamboo forest with gorgeous vistas, journey through beautiful Magar, Gurung, Kami, Damai and Kshetri – Brahmin villages with its beautifully terraced farm lands. This Khopra Danda Trek can be done as a special combined tour and adventure hike up to Khayar Lake 4827m, the highest point, the most spectacular, picturesque and breath-taking views of snowcapped peaks and mesmerizing landscapes! Other thing about this trail is; very few tourist you see on the way, so it’s quiet and peace trail also. Mountains views are just awesome 180 degree from Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna I 8091m, Manaslu 8163m etc. + green high hills, rhododendron forest and the southern green slopes with terraced farming lands. Khopra Trek or South of Annapurna region is one of Nepal’s last Himalayan jewels; a glittering array of panoramas, gigantic peaks and peaceful nature awaits the adventurous explorer. However, as magnificent as the mountains are, it is perhaps the people of Nepal that are its greatest asset. Khopra Danda trek is the diversity of ethno-culture, colorful festivals, temples and gompas, mixture settlement of friendly loving people. On this trip you will have chances to mix with those people and observe their lifestyle, culture and traditions. These things make this trip one of the finest.

Day 01 -We will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul by car about 8am then we start the trek along the way modi river flat land of Sauli Bazar. Then after we calim the step to Ghandurk 1900m. you have nice village, we visit and sighseen. You have close views of Annapurna and fishtail snow mountain.

Day 02- Ghandruk to Tadapani, 3-4 hrs.
You’ll start by climbing through Deurali and then hike through lovely rhododendron trees. To get to Tadapani settlement, you’ll have to trek via a tiny pass. The trail is going to be beautiful, and you’ll get to see some amazing scenery along the way. Furthermore, if you go hiking in the spring, you’ll discover slopes covered in blooming rhododendrons. You’ll spend the night in a lodge.

Day 03 -Tadapani to Bayeli Kharka, 6-7 hrs.
After leaving Tadapani, you’ll leave the main trail and go on an off-the-beaten-path adventure. The trail passes through one of Annapurna’s most remote areas. You’ll hike through oak and rhododendron woodlands before ascending along the tree line to a ridge.

From here, follow the trek to Bayeli Kharka, where you will spend the night. On the route, you’ll get a spectacular glimpse of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), the world’s seventh-tallest mountain.

Day- 04 Bayeli Kharka to Upper Chistibung, 5-6 hrs.
You’ll climb a grassy ridge today and stroll through lush pasturelands. Herders’ cottages and their animals, Dzos, a crossbreed of cow and yak, may be seen along the path. On the grassy peaks high above the trail, you can view beautiful Danphe pheasants (Nepal’s national bird) and Himalayan Thars. You’ll arrive in Upper Chistibung, where you’ll spend the night.

Day- 05 Chistibung to Khopra Ridge (Khopra Danda) 6-7 hrs.
After having breakfast, you will ascend gradually through alpine meadows and pasturelands. As you progress, you will catch sight of Annapurna South from afar. You’ll make your way all the way to the Khopra Ridge, where you’ll spend the night. You’ll have spectacular views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), and Mt. Nilgiri after reaching Khopra Ridge.

You will descend a short distance to a viewpoint where you will be able to glimpse the world’s largest gorge, the Kali Gandaki Gorge. The lodge will be your home for the night.

Day- 06 Trek from Khopra Ridge to Swanta, 5-6 hrs.
You’ll start traveling towards Swanta village today. You’ll be walking past terraced farmland and little traditional dwellings. Beautiful views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (867 m) and a stunning environment may be seen along the way. When you arrive in Swanta village, you’ll clean up before visiting a primary school and seeing the area. The lodge will be your home for the night.

Day- 07 Trek from Swanta to Ghorepani, 5-6 hrs.
After leaving the Swanta settlement, you will join the Ghorepani main trail. The trail will be much busier than previously and will take you through a woody area. You will be able to see a great glimpse of the landscape along the trip. You’ll check into your accommodation once you arrive at Ghorepani. The rest of the day will be spent exploring the hamlet and sampling the local cuisine. The lodge will be your accommodation for the night.

Day -08 Hike to Poon Hill early morning and Trek to Ulleri same day drive back to Pokhara, 6-7hrs.
Early in the morning, you’ll get up and start hiking towards Poon Hill. 1 hour of climbing When you reach Poon Hill, you’ll be treated to one of the most spectacular sunrises you’ve ever seen, set against the Himalayan mountain range. After some time, you will return to Ghorepani (which is only 30 minutes downhill), have breakfast, and begin your 4-hour journey to Ulleri.

Lunch will be served at Ulleri, from where you will board a jeep for a 2-hour trip to Pokhara. You’ll be driven to your hotel, where you’ll spend the day resting. In the evening, you’ll go boating on the beautiful Fewa Lake and witness the natural beauty of Pokhara as well as a panoramic mountain view. In the motel for the night.

Detailed Itinerary
